You'll find "comprehensive wealth management," "personalized financial solutions," and "helping clients achieve their goals" on almost every one of them. Often in the first sentence. Sometimes in the same sentence.

None of it is wrong. It's just invisible. It describes a category, not a person. And when a prospect can't tell you apart from the next firm, they default to whoever is closest, cheapest, or recommended by their brother-in-law.

Nobody got into finance or real estate dreaming about blog posts, email newsletters, or figuring out what on earth to post on LinkedIn on a Tuesday.

And yet here we are. Because in both of these businesses, people don't hire who's best. They hire who they know, remember, and trust. Marketing is how you get remembered before someone needs you.
